Fashion World. The Flip Side.: A Fashion City or Fashion Capital for 3 days. KIEV, Ukraine.

For 3 days Kiev ( capital of Ukraine ) became as famous and stylish as Milan, Paris, London and New-York! I can bet nobody remembers an event with so many World's Fashion Guests!
Fashion shows, catwalks on mini-podium, show rooms, lectures from famous guests, workshop. The atmosphere was amazing! Models, designers and journalists could be seen everywhere in Mysteckiy Arsenal ( name of the place of KFD).
All Bloggers who applied for accreditaon got PRESS badges. Organizators did all they could to provide young Ukrainian fashion journalists-bloggers with all necessary information. Why do we all read US and English bloggers and do not develop out own BLOGGIN' culture? I asked some of fashion-bloggers while they came to pick up badges. "The problem is WE do not get and do not have access ( until today ) to any Fashion Events here. People don't take us serious and just don't give us space. You know I mean not ground for developing but even accepting the fact of our existence! Kiev Fashion Days made it public! We are here. We have a lot to say and we are ready to change these stereotypes! Thank you, KFD!" GO GO GO :) By the way, there is a competition among Kiev Fashion Bloggers. The prize is high - Trip to Paris for Haute Couture in summer. But the job is not an easy one - from 15th of March till 15th of April you must write and write, post and post about Ukrainian Fashion! Wish you all luck!

Alena Doletskaya ( First Chif Editor of Vogue Russia ), Godfrey Deeny ( an amazing man; to make it short - world known fashion observer), Francesco Scognamiglio ( Madonna and Lady Gaga's favorite italian designer), Sasha Kanevski ( Ukrainian designer ) and many more celebrities were noticed sharing ideas and opinions with visitors, guests, bloggers, and just everybody who wanted to ask any question.
